Head Start/Early Childhood Education
Family Service Worker

Job Description: Perform Family and Community Partnership Programs to ensure coordination and delivery of services that promote family and community development.

Minimum Qualifications Required: Associate Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field and minimum of two years experience in related social service field. Bachelor Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field preferred. Proof of valid driver license, auto insurance and driving record required for Agency travel.

Head Start/Early Childhood Education
Teachers (Pre-K, 3-5 years of age)

Minimum Qualifications Required: Associate degree in Early Childhood Education required, Bachelor or Master degree in ECE strongly preferred. Candidate must have good verbal, written & computer skills and preferably one (1) year experience working in an early learning environment with children 3-5 years of age in an urban setting (this can include practicum placements). Spanish skills a plus.

Minimum Qualifications Required: Current Child Development Certification (CDA) required, in addition to high school diploma or GED; Associate’s degree in ECE preferred. Case Manager

Job Description: Provide case management/facilitation for clients in the Off the Streets program.  Conduct intake assessments and group activities as required.

Minimum Qualifications Required: Life experience related to sexual exploitation, addiction, mental health and /or trauma. Minimum two-year degree required, four-year degree and license in related field preferred. Training in the areas of social work, substance abuse, mental health counseling or related fields a plus. Must demonstrate an ability to work with a diverse urban population and possess excellent communication and people skills and adequate computer skills.  Must have a minimum of five years in recovery as applicable. Proof of valid driver license, auto insurance and driving record required for Agency travel.

Weekend Care Coordinator

Job Description: Provide a safe and secure environment for the women of Off the StreetsSM. Ensure that the women are attending all scheduled programming. Work closely with the facilitators and volunteers to ensure that the program runs smoothly during weekend hours. Monitor and communicate regularly with OTS facilitators regarding client behavior.

Minimum Qualifications Required: Life experience related to sexual exploitation, High School Diploma or GED required, CDCA preferred; at least one successful year of work experience in a recovery setting; Education/training in the areas of social work, substance abuse, mental health counseling or related fields a plus. Must demonstrate an ability to work with a diverse urban population and possess excellent communication and people skills and adequate computer skills.  Must have a minimum of five years in recovery as applicable.

Licensed Clinical Social Worker LISW-S

Job Description: Supervise and conduct mental health assessments, conduct group therapy/individual therapy. Oversee treatment plans and provide interventions such as clinical consultation for staff, skill development, and psycho-educational sessions for staff and residents. Oversee staff in the confidential organization of client files. Assist Program Director with coordination of requirements of Federal Grant delivery of services

Minimum Qualifications Required: 

Current possession of a valid LISW license in the State of Ohio. Master’s degree in Social Work. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the mental health field, specifically working with trauma victims.  OTS-incorporates principles of trauma informed care in all areas of our Integrated Counseling services (trauma informed care includes cultural sensitivity and emphasis on a safe and respectful environment for all clients and staff).   Experience and/or training in these principles and in trauma treatment is valued in applicants.   Proof of valid driver license, auto insurance and driving record required for Agency travel. Knowledge of a variety of treatment approaches and modalities including: trauma-informed interventions, substance abuse interventions, dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy or other evidence-based approaches. Must have excellent organizational, time management, and communications skills, ability to work with a challenging population, and ability to manage conflicts and crisis interventions.

Ability to gather, record and report clinical data effectively to meet the needs of the agencies reporting requirements and research projects. Requires the ability to manage some level of administrative and program tasks. Ability to use Microsoft Office Software and Outlook Calendar. Experience with scheduling, creating presentations, maintaining calendars and handling confidential information.

 Administrative Support and Enrollment Specialist

Job Description: An administrative professional that supports the Site Administrator and Enrollment/Support Staff in center operations of a high-quality Early Care and Education Center. Duties are carried out in accordance with CUB Philosophy and Policies, Head Start Performance Standards, ODJFS Licensing Rules, and regulatory agencies.  Administrative Assistant will support the tasks necessary for student enrollment, consistent student attendance, and tasks required to run the daily operations of a quality rated Early Care and Education Center while being a part of actively creating and promoting a welcoming environment where everyone is treated with respect.

Minimum Qualifications Required:

Associates Degree or equivalent in experience and education; minimum HS diploma required. Minimum two (2) years’ organizational, administrative and/or accounting experience required, preferably in a non-profit or early care and education setting.  Knowledge of the various cultures in the community, particularly as they may affect the families served in a childcare setting. Bi-lingual preferred but not required. Must be fully competent in computer software, administrative resources and implementation of processes and systems. Strong skills in organization, time management and self-motivation required as well as the ability to be flexible.  Positive, upbeat attitude while working in a fast paced environment.   Strong customer service skills a must, with the ability to greet potential families and give facility tours. Ideal candidate will have a genuine love for children, and basic understanding of age appropriate activities for young children and a commitment to education. Proof of valid driver’s license, auto insurance and driving record required for Agency travel. Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and successful pass a background screening, including fingerprinting.
